Life Update via My Camera Roll

THANK. GOD. IT'S. FRIDAY. Am I right? This has been such a busy week for us as we (attempt to) get settled in our new NYC place. For those of you who've asked, we are living in Manhattan, and loving it so far! Before leaving California, I had to squeeze in a few dates with some of my favorite ladies.

We arrived in the city on Monday, and I loved the views as we neared landing - seeing fall colors is something I really missed when we lived in California.

We had to wait until Tuesday to move in to our new place, so we stayed at the Hudson Hotel on the Upper West Side, and had a lot of fun. I forgot how much I love the energy in a city (for those of you who don't know, we lived in Chicago before moving to California). The restaurant we went to was packed at 8pm...on a Monday...that never happens in Orange County. We had amazing food - truffle popcorn, duck fat fries, burgers, and grilled cheese complete with martinis. I would definitely recommend heading to the Hudson if you're coming to NYC, if even just to eat - great crowd, great food.
the rooms are so cute & moody - felt like I was in a den with all of the wood paneling
there is an amazing coffee shop near our place, we've made a few trips this week
bundled up & ready to hit the streets in all gray - can't get enough of it lately
Bloomies prepping for the season - so excited to see all of the Christmas decor around the city!
One thing I love about our new place is that we have windows on three sides - great views all around, so fun at night!
