2013 In Review

We feel like we say this every year, but HOW can it already be New Year's Eve?! This year has definitely been a whirlwind for both of us - a year of BIG change. This will forever be the year we started Somewhere, Lately, and it has been a great accomplishment and journey thus far (we can't believe it's only been 5 months). We can't wait to see what 2014 brings (some exciting things in the works), and most importantly, we can't wait to share it all with you! A BIG thank you to all of our readers, supporters, friends, and family - we couldn't do it without you! In honor of a new year, we wanted to take a look back at a few of our favorite looks from 2013 - Happy New Year babes! Be safe, and get wild!

Cheers! See you in the new year!

NYE - Little Red Dress

The time has come to ring in the new year! One of my favorite parts of NYE is playing dress up. I'm going to a concert this year so I don't need a fancy dress but if I were going to a party, I'd be in this LRD!

Love the plunging neckline! So sexy!
What are your NYE plans and what will you be wearing?

Plaid For Christmas

I decided to wear plaid on Christmas - it just feels like such a Christmas-y print, don't you think? I paired it with my leather pencil skirt from ZARA, and new wedge booties.
It was the perfect snowy Christmas day - finally a white Christmas.
Happy Friday, ladies! I'm heading to the airport to jet back to NYC this afternoon, have a great weekend!

Hope you ladies had a wonderful Christmas! We are loving being home and celebrating with family and friends - getting ready to head back to the city tomorrow.

Coach is really stepping up their game lately, has anyone else noticed?! I'll admit, I had not been into a Coach store in years until last week, while I was waiting for my flight home and there was a Coach store in my terminal. Looking to blow some time, I made my way into the store, not expecting to find much, but was honestly stunned at how they've really changed the look of their bags. The best part? The price point! While they are still not CHEAP by any means, they are definitely not quite as expensive as many other designer bags on the market. As a lover of handbags (and by lover, I mean hoarder), I am super excited about this "upgrade" Coach has made - I'm definitely considering one for my next bag purchase. I've rounded up a few of my favorites from the store - and trust me when I say the leather is to-die-for! I went through and inspected each and every one of my picks below. ;) You may have seen on Instagram, I ended up going home with these wedge booties

Are you as impressed as I was? Have a great day, I'll be eating sugar cookies all afternoon!

Flares & Faux Fur

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! I'm leaving for South Dakota today - I cannot wait to get home and spend the holiday with my family.
I like to be comfortable when I travel - flare jeans and a boyfriend tee are my go to! Like Brooke, I got this jacket during the Shopbop sale and its definitely a staple in my wardrobe, its so warm and cozy!
outfit details: faux fur - shopbop / jeans - henry and belle / hat - zara / bag - alexander wang / booties - sam edelman

Hope you all have an amazing Christmas! xo

(Faux) Fur

Good Morning ladies, Christmas is only two sleeps away...who's excited? It really is the most wonderful time of the year! I've been busy wrapping gifts with my mama, and finish up last-minute menu planning. My husband arrives today - I'm on my way to pick him up for the airport right now!

I've had this jacket since the great Shopbop sale, and love it. I had been searching for the perfect faux fur jacket, and this.is.it. It's fully satin lined, fits really well, and the faux fur looks nicer than many other jackets I've seen.
Lana Jewelry necklace - I'm obsessed with all of her designs.
What are you ladies doing to get ready for Christmas?
