Looking Back at 2014!

Can you believe another year has come and gone? They seem to be going by faster each year. 2014 was a great year for the two of us of us - fashion week, vacations, we both moved and both found out we're expecting little ones! Thanks so much for following along this year - we can't wait to see what 2015 has in store!

 Our New Year's Party Picks:

Greek Yogurt Pancakes

Happy Monday ladies! Is anyone else bummed the holidays are over? I spent a few days in Iowa with my family and now I'm in Dallas for the week hanging out with Kyle and his. I wanted to share one of my new favorite recipes to make. I've had a really hard time eating healthy so far this pregnancy...even yogurt upsets my stomach! So I've been trying new recipes to try and get something besides Ramen Noodles in my tummy. These pancakes are so easy to make and are so delicious and fluffy! All you need is:

One 5.3 ounce container of Greek Yogurt (any flavor)
2 egg whites
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 cup blueberries and half banana (or any fruit you like!)
Agave sweetener

1. Mix yogurt and egg whits in a bowl until blended and smooth. Stir in baking soda and flour. It will be extremely thick!
1. Spray griddle or pan with cooking spray and use 1/3 measuring cup to scoop the batter. Spread the batter into a circle and drop your fruit on it. Cook for about 3 minutes until golden brown and 2 minutes on the other side.

I used toasted coconut vanilla Greek yogurt for one batch and they were ah-mazing. Share some of your favorite healthy recipes!

P.S there are some sales going on you don't want to miss! Some of our favorites? Shopbop, Nordstrom, Farfetch (this bag...yes please!) and Saks!

Life, Lately (according to my iPhone) + Last Day to Enter our BIG Holiday Giveaway

We took Sophia to see Santa over the weekend and she was smitten. She could not wait to see him, and kept saying "Santa! Santa!" and waving to him. When it was her turn, she ran up to him, and sat right on his lap. We were really not sure what her reaction would be, but it turned out to be so amazing. Living Christmas through a child's eyes is SO fun, and I have a feeling it only gets better each year. I'm obsessed with this outfit, and her sweater dress and tights are currently on sale. She loves wearing these boots, and can pretty much put them on herself which is great. I actually have the same pair, so when I saw they made a mini version, I had to get them for her.
I have still been enjoying coffee this pregnancy - I didn't when I was pregnant with Sophia because it didn't appeal to me. I know a lot of people have different opinions on this, but I asked my doctor about caffeine, and he said as long as you don't consume more than 200mg/day, it's fine. I usually get a tall latte which only has 75mg, compared to a tall cup of regular coffee that has 180mg.
I have been on the hunt for the perfect white polish for so long, and finally found it! I don't like when it's so white it looks like you painted your nails with white out HA - so it was a difficult search. The winner is - OPI Funny Bunny. This is gel, but you can also order the regular polish here
I normally stay away from heels during pregnancy because I find them to be so uncomfortable and hard to balance on when I have the bump, but these (from Madewell) are new...and so comfortable, I've been wearing them quite a bit. They are sold out in all sizes except a 10, but I'm guessing they will restock soon - I'll keep my eyes peeled for you!
I had my first prenatal massage at the Ritz recently, and I was in heaavvveenn. I'm kind of dying to go back for another one. Pregnancy is hard on your body (back, hips, joints, etc), and getting a massage was seriously amazing. I'd highly recommend it!
I treated myself to this scarf at Aritzia last weekend while I was out Christmas shopping. I'd been eyeing it for a while, and finally caved. I couldn't decide what color to go with because they are all so great, but ended up going with black and white (which looks more gray to me), since it will go with 90% of my wardrobe ;).
NYC is so magical during the holidays.
I've been living in this coat (which just went on SALE TODAY! I bought a US size 6 for an oversized look) and these boots (also on sale) lately. Both are so comfortable, and the coat is surprisingly warm (I'm always skeptical about the 'real' warmth of any coat that isn't down).
Another new obsession - Rag Cuffs. Seriously warm.

PS - If you haven't yet, be sure to enter our BIG holiday giveaway! The winner will be announced tomorrow! Have a great day babes! xx

Baby News!

If you follow along on social media, you probably saw my big news last night - I'm expecting my first little one in June! This was definitely a surprise for my boyfriend and I. We had it all planned out - engagement, puppy, wedding, babies...butttttttt life doesn't always go as planned and we couldn't be more excited for this little blessing.

How far along: 14 weeks!
Cravings: Ramen Noodles and Runts...so random!? I've had more food aversions then cravings, ugh!
Gender: Baby boy! We thought it would be fun to know before the holidays so we did a blood test to find out early. We were both convinced it was a girl and had no boy names picked out! So if you have any cute boy names, send them my way. Luckily we still have plenty of time to decide!
Maternity clothes: Not yet...luckily most of my sweaters and tees are over-sized so I'm hoping to hold off for awhile. Although my jeans are starting to feel a little snug!
Exercise: I was so fatigued during my first trimester, exercising was the last thing on my mind. Hoping to start hitting the gym once I get more energy.
Sleep: Lately I've been waking up in the middle of the night  having to run to the bathroom from nausea - not fun!
Missing anything: A normal diet...my appetite is so blah. A cocktail wouldn't be bad either ;)
Milestone: Out of the first trimester and starting to see a tiny bump!
Feeling:  Excited and nervous! Also ready to start feeling better. The nausea and fatigue have been wearing me down but I've heard great things about the second trimester!

Leopard Bootie Love

I have been on a serious hunt for leopard print booties. I actually want these exact ones but cannot find them anywhere - help!! I was so close to buying this Loeffler Randall pair but wanted to wait and see if I found a pair for a better price tag. Of course they sold out and now I'm on the wait list for size 7, ugh! These Kurt Geiger's are in a close second. It's hard to find a leopard shoe that isn't too cheesy...some of the prints can be just a little too wild. If anyone knows where the above pair are from please let me know :)
