My NYC Living Space

Happy Thursday loves! Meggan is on her way to NYC right now, and I couldn't be more excited - we have a lot of plans, and only a few days! I have received quite a few of requests to share my NYC apartment with you - so I decided to break it up by room. Today, I'm sharing our living space - we spend most of our time here, and I love it. It's so bright and open (something that is unfortunately hard to find in NYC), and it is my 'calm' space in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had a lot of bright colors in our California home, but when we moved to NYC, I knew I wanted a more muted color pallet. White walls and natural tones/textures is what I went with. We sold most of our furniture with our home in CA, so we were starting from scratch - which I loved. You may remember, we had to SAW our brand new sofa in half upon move-in, because it could not fit in the elevator - such a PAIN, but at least we now have it in our place (yes, that means we will also have to saw it in half to get it out!). I have listed sources below (and linked if item is still available), but if you have specific questions, I'll get those answered as well! xo

sofa - restoration hardware / pillows and rug- pottery barn / coffee table - restoration hardware / books / candle sticks - west elm (similar) / octopus print - lord bodner purchased via natural curiosities / horn vase - jayson home / lamp - nate berkus for hsn
