Happy Friday, lovers! It's been a long week, and I couldn't be more ready for the weekend - here's to hoping for some warmer weather. Just when we think spring has arrived...BOOM. Back to single digets - uhg, so over winter! Anyone with me?
Anyway, onto the topic of today: fitness. If you read this post, you already know that I long to be in amazing shape, and eat healthy, but the truth is I'm not (in shape), and don't (eat healthy). But, my friends, this is about to change (obviously, because I'm declaring it right here, right now!). If you saw the above photo on Instagram, you know I worked out for the first time (in too long) last week. Today, I'm joining a gym, and plan to start working out 3-4 times/week and know with that, I will watch what I put into my body (I'm always more conscious of this when I'm working on my fitness). I've always been the "phase girl," totally into living a healthy lifestyle for a few months, then completely fall off the wagon for 6 months - 1 year until I realize how unhappy I am. That is what I want to change - I want being healthy to become my lifestyle, not just another phase. I think making realistic goals (like working out 3-4 times/week) will help me get there. I would LOVE any tips you have for me! I swear one thing that motivates me is having great workout gear - don't you agree?
