Black & White

sweater c/o | bag | sunglasses | boots

Happy Friday! The weeks keep going faster and faster. I've been feeling pretty crappy this week so my hair has been in a bun and cozy sweaters are a must. I recently just got this coat from Chicwish. I'm definitely going to be living in it this winter. My booties are from Sam Edelman last year and are no longer available but they have some amaze pairs out this season. I'm loving these ankle booties - the perfect casual pair!

Design Lust: Hermes Blanket

With all of the updates going on around my home, I am constantly pinning items that I'd love to add to my space. I came across the last image yesterday, and it reminded me how much I looooove the Hermes Avalon blanket. Major swoon, also major bucks. This is definitely an item worth saving for in my opinion (if you love interior design as much as I do), because it's a classic, and it will never go out of style. I know, not the most practical of purchases, but that's why it's on the LUST list. I think I'll start saving my pennies today ;). What do you think, would you splurge for this? Or would you rather have a great bag/pair of shoes?

Fall Date Night Look

dress | boots | sweater c/o | bag c/o | polish

Last weekend was so gorgeous in Chicago we had to take advantage so we went out for a little date night on Old Town! I'm sure you will be seeing me in these boots (on sale now!!) a lot this fall/winter - I am beyond obsessed! Sam Edelman also made this flat OTK pair if you're looking for an everyday boot! My sweater and bag are both French Connection. If you haven't already, check out their fall and winter collection. Swooning over this tulip coat and this grey jumper! Xx

Big News!

Good morning, lovelies! If you follow us on insta, you probably already know my big news...I'm pregnant (currently 21 weeks!) with baby number 2! I had a few questions as to whether or not this was my first babe, but nope! I currently have a crazy toddler on my hands, so this is definitely going to be an adventure. ;) I'm not sure if you guys are even interested in keeping up with my pregnancy or not (please leave comments to let me know either way!), but I'm planning to do weekly or bi-weekly updates, as well as continue with outfit posts (wearing non-maternity clothes for now, will eventually have to switch out a few pieces for maternity - uhg!). Anyway, here we go!

How far along? 21 weeks
Maternity clothes? Nope! And holding off as long as possible. I hate spending money on clothes you can ONLY wear while you are pregnant, it seems like such a waste.
Sleep: Sleeping pretty well, but waking up in the night is always a pain ;).
Best moment this week? I'll be heading to the doctor this morning, and will set up an ultrasound to determine the gender! Any guesses?
Physical activity: Embarrassed to say zero. Need some motivation in this department.
Baby movement? Definitely feeling little kicks daily.
Food cravings: My sweet tooth is trying to take me down (if you haven't noticed on insta). During my first pregnancy, all I craved was fruit. This time, I want cake, cupcakes, donuts, macarons, and anything else laced with sugar. I know, this is not good.
Gender prediction: NO idea! We had a little scare in the beginning of this pregnancy, so after that (as cliche as it sounds), we are just praying for a healthy babe. We currently have a girl, so a girl would be great because I have so many cute things saved + I always wanted a sister, but a boy would be fun because we already have a girl.
Milestone: Already over halfway there! Can't believe how much faster the second pregnancy goes!

DIY Glitter Pumpkin

I'll admit, I'm not the most crafty person (I envy all of you crafter's out there!) so when I come across a super easy DIY I get pretty excited! We went to the pumpkin patch yesterday and I scooped up some of my favorite white pumpkins. I'm not much of a carver so I love to get mini's to decorate and paint. Since Halloween is already this week, I decided to do a neutral glitter (would also be cute in purple, black or orange) so they can be out until Thanksgiving!

Supplies: pumpkins / elmer's glue / paint brush /glitter

Mix the Elmer's glue with a little water, brush on pumpkin, sprinkle the glitter - Wah lah! That's all it takes. Xx

Cold Weather Boots That Aren't Fuggly

When it comes to cold weather, we completely understand the need to keep your feet warm. If your feet are cold and're screwed. Last year, we waited MUCH too long to order some killer cold weather boots, and everything was sold out. We've gotten a few requests to share our favorite (warm) winter boots, so we thought now would be the perfect time. Honestly, if you don't order them now, you'll be sorry, because all the good ones sell out really fast, and they do not restock until next year. We've rounded up our absolute favorite boots for winter below (just click on the boots to be taken to the site).  Happy Friday babarooos! Have a great weekend! xx

#TBT Camo Love

pants | sweater (similar) | bag | converse

It's #tbt so I decided to share on of my favorite outfits from last fall! Camo is one of my favorite patterns to wear during the cooler months. It looks good worn subtlety and definitely gives off a cool girl vibe! These pants are Henry & Belle but I love these Current/Elliot's and this pair of Citizens. Brooke and I always talk about how much we love the Clare Vivier leopard hair clutch but the camo clutch is definitely a close second! Have a great Thursday babes! xx

Leopard Blanket Scarf

sweater | scarf (Zara, love this one) | denim | booties | bag (Armani, similar here, more affordable option here) | sunnies | lipstick | watch (Rolex,  nearly identical here) | bracelet (Hermes, similar here

Happy hump day! Hope you ladies are having a great week, it's chilly and rainy here this morning - perfect day to cuddle up and watch movies...I wish ;). I have a packed schedule, so I'll be on the go all day. Here's a look I wore last weekend on a cold and windy day. I don't wear my hair in a topknot as much as I used to, but it was nice to have it up for a change. I'm so happy with this Zara scarf (I couldn't find it online, but this one is very similar) - I know I'll be wearing it all winter. These jeans were probably the best purchase I've made all year - I wear them all the time (you may have noticed) because they are SO comfortable, and fit so well. In terms of jeans, the price point isn't too bad either (I haaaaaate spending over $200 on jeans, although I'm kind of dying for these because I've heard such great things). I'm off to start my busy day, have a good one loves! xx

Revolve Finds

If there's one online site I'm addicted to, it's definitely Revolve. I rounded up some of my favorite finds that are sitting in my shopping cart. I am LOVING this faux fur vest - not exactly sure what I would wear it for but I love the uniqueness and the bright colors! The Siwy boyfriend jeans are also on the top of my to-buy list (also love these and these!) - can never have too many pairs! Xx

My Weekend In Photos

Happy Monday, loves! The weekends always seem to fly by...and here we are, a new week. I swear each month is going faster than the last. I can't believe Christmas will be here in 2 months (but I'm no mad about favorite time of the year!) Anyway, onto my weekend in photos!
New mani - color is CND gel in "Asphalt."
Kicking off the weekend with a box of donuts...should have picked up a few more for this morning ;).
scarf / sweater c/o / denim / booties (sold out, similar here) / bag - Armani (similar here, more affordable option here
We are still working on our house (and have a long way to go), but we've made some progress. Here is our entryway table as it is currently - I'm still looking for a few things to change up the decor underneath, but I'm loving the simple look. I purchased this skull in Arizona, I love to fill my home with things I find around the world.
The trees in our neighborhood are gorgeous - I could take a thousand photos, and never get tired of fall.
This is what our fireplace currently looks like - trust me, it's much better than what we started with ;). We went to a stone yard over the weekend to pick a slab for the surround, and we are so excited to complete this project...we chose gray slate, the photo below was our inspo. We also added the built-ins on either side of the fireplace, which I still need to finish styling.

I decided to keep the leopard scarf from Zara I posted on insta last week, and I love it. It's a great size, and super soft - stay tuned for the full look later this week.
sweaterdenim / booties / bag is Armani (similar here, more affordable option here
My hubby knows the way to my heart...double stuffed Oreos!
As you know, I've been wanting a wide brim hat, and thanks to Lack of Color, I've got it! All of their hats are amazing, be sure to check them out. I always get a lot of questions about these booties, they are by Dolce Vita, and I can't find the exact pair online, but am loving this (almost identical) pair

...annnnd this is how I feel about today

Hope you ladies had a wonderful weekend! xx
