Camden's 5 Month Update

Greetings from Cabo!! I'm down here with my mom and Camden to meet with my wedding planner and look for venues. I uploaded this picture of him on Instagram yesterday and was loving all the comments so I thought I'd do a little update on my peanut! He's almost five months...seriously where is the time going?! This time last year, I just found out I was pregnant - so crazy!

I do not want to jinx it, but he is finally starting to grow out of  being colicky. He still has a few meltdowns but the last two weeks he seems to be content - and I am LOVING it!

Height / weight: At his 4 month appointment, I was 14 pounds 6 ounces and 25 inches long. I feel like he's at least 16 pounds now because he is feeling heavvvvvyyy on momma's arm!

Sleep: Still a good sleeper! We stopped swaddling a few weeks ago which was a nightmare (up every hour or so!) and started using a sleep sack since he started to rollover. He's finally getting used to no swaddle and is sleeping till about 6.

Eating: He houses about 6 ounces every 2-3 hours. I'm still pumping (can't believe I'm still going!) and supplementing with some formula. We will start solids next month which I'm excited about! I'll be using this Babycook Pro - hope it works okay!

-Rolling over from back to tummy and tummy to back!
-Giggling and coo'ing nonstop
-Found his feet!
-No teeth but he has been chewing on his hands and drooling like crazy for the last 2 months. We go through SO many onsies a day!
- Reaching for toys and playing with them
-Has been on 16 flights now...ha! He's an experienced flyer that's for sure! He does pretty good on the planes and usually sleeps.

  1. I had a babycook and LOVED it - I would even make stuff for me and the hubs in there (fresh salsa and just a simple sweet potato mash were our faves!)

  2. Your Cam is so stinkin' cute! Amazing that you're still pumping! Big high five to you girl. I didn't last longer than 2 months so that's really amazing stuff. Enjoy your trip!! xx

  3. He is adorable Meggan! Such a cute baby!! Congrats on your engagemental the place looks amazing. Good luck with that. I'm using babycook duo with my daughter who is seven months. It's ok a steams mixes well, not that solid as I expected and one half of my duo isn't working as a steamer after few times. But overall it's a useful tool. Enjoy your time our xx
