Clinique Skincare

Meggan and I are constantly talking about skincare...we pretty much text all day long, and skincare always finds its way into the conversation. From which masks irritate our skin to our new favorite contour kit, we talk about it all. The other day I was complaining about redness (one skin issue I'm constantly dealing with), and she told me to check out the Redness Solutions line from Clinique. She said it had great reviews, and after reading them online here, I knew I had to try it!
I'm not kidding you, after using the daily relief cream for the first time my redness was drastically reduced - I apply it in the morning after washing my face. I'm going to go back to Nordstrom for the protective base with SPF because I really need to find a product with sunscreen that doesn't irritate my skin, and this one has great reviews.
While I was at Nordstrom, I also picked up this color correcting primer (the yellow combats redness), and love the texture. Some primers tend to clump on my skin leaving little balls of product, but this one is perfectly smooth while reducing redness.
Meggan and I both use (and loooooove) this makeup remover - next time I'm going to try the balm.
Exfoliating your face is so important! When dead skin cells start to pile up your face looks dull and dry. It can also cause clogged pores, excess oil, and blemishes - yuck! This '7 day scrub cream' really gets the job done. After I use it my skin feels tight and rejuvenated!
The 'moisture surge' overnight mask and 'take the day off' cleansing balm have been staples in my nightly routine. I've mentioned the makeup remover a few times (it's one of my can't live without products) but just started using the mask and loovve it! It really hydrates your face without it being greasy.
Right now, Clinique is gifting each shopper a deluxe sample set with any purchase of $27 or more, and if you spend $55 you receive a full-size 7 Day Scrub! See all the details HERE (the coupon code is different for each skin tone, so find yours and enter it at checkout!).

  3. Brooke I know you use acne face wash, night pads, and moisturizer. I do as well and am wondering about how you use other products in your routine? Sometimes I feel like I put so many layers on my face from moisturizer and SPF and primer and on and on and on.. Thanks!

    1. Yes, it can be a lot...but I've seen the best results (that I ever have) recently. Here's what I use: makeup remover (clinique), face wash (tula or mary kay depending on the day, no real reason...love both - I only use the Philosophy wash in the shower now, so not really strict in my routine), acne pads (philosophy - at night only), clarins double serum (night only), shesido eye cream (night only), tula moisturizer at night, clinique moisturizer during the day, and that's it! LOL....so basically most of the products are for nighttime for me. During the day I simply wash my face and apply the Clinique moisturizer, everything else is my nightitme routine...hope that helps! If I'm having some breakouts, I will use the acne pads in the morning as well xx
