Life, Lately

Good morning babes! Hope you all had a very happy LDW! We've been busy traveling these past few weeks, and with Meggan flying in for NYFW this weekend & preschool starting next week, we're not slowing down anytime soon. Wanted to share some snaps from my life, lately.
We hopped in the car and headed to the Jersey Shore a couple weeks ago to celebrate Sophia's 4th birthday & we were blown away! We really didn't know what to expect, and could only think of the TV show when we heard "Jersey Shore," but it was nothing like that. We were in Long Branch, NJ and it was so beautiful and SO close to NYC (only about an hour and 20 mins by car). We had the best couple of days there, and can't wait to head back next summer!

I'm obsessed with this restaurant - Avenue in Long Branch, NJ. Amazing atmosphere, decor, and food! It feels like a restaurant in NYC just plopped down on the great!

The day after we returned home from NJ, we made a last-minute decision to head to Iowa to visit my family. It was so great to see my family, and we were sad to leave - we got home last night.

I'm obsessed with Lole - I picked up this striped zip up and this hat at one of my favorite local stores (The Three Sons). I get so many questions about this backpack & I love it - I use it all the time and it has held up extremely well - definitely recommend it!
Trying to get a photo with my bestie and our babes was quite the task ;). She just started a mama blog with her friend - check it out HERE
I finally got to visit my girlfriend's boutique - BOHÉME, and it's just as cute as I imagined! She has theee best pieces, and she'll be taking it online soon!
My mom gave me this book to read, she said it was SO good (check out the reviews)! Have you read it? Any other book recommendations? Please share!

Have a great day ladies! xx

  1. I love posts like this, great photos! xoxo

  2. Happy to hear you guys had a great time! Belated happy birthday to your beautiful daughter!

    xoxo from Napa Valley!

  3. Me before you was one of those books you can't put down once you start. A very easy read too. I am currently reading this 4 book Italian series that is one of the best written books I've read in a while. The first book is called My Brilliant Friend, it took me a bit to get into it because there are a ton of characters but once you are in, you become addicted. I just finished the 2nd book and can't wait to start the 3rd. Even though it is translated from Italian into English, the writing is genius. I highly recommend it!

  4. That book is such a wonderful story!
    Paperbacks are my absolute favorite!
Long Branch is a really nice area, check out Ocean Grove next time.
Also that jacket is really cute, going to check out the site now.
