Good morning babes! Hope your week is going well – mine is flying by, as we’ve been super busy over here. Tomorrow is my hubby’s birthday, so we are heading to the city for a little stay-cation and a (much-needed) adults only night out. As I was thinking about what to bring, I started mentally packing things I don’t have…HA! Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this?! With the cooler temperatures finally rolling in, I’ve decided to put together a list of items I wish I was packing for the weekend.
I’ve been searching high and low of the perfect leopard coat, and actually ordered this one, but I’m not positive I’m going to keep it. It’s not exactly what I wanted, but I’m afraid if I return it, I’ll regret it. Thoughts? I love this gray one – a little different from all the others I’ve seen, and this one is pretty amazing too.
I’m in need of a great overnight bag, I’d love suggestions! A vintage Louis Vuitton wouldn’t be too shabby, but also loving this one.
A KILLER PLAID
I’m on the hunt for a new plaid shirt for fall, each year I find a new one, but it’s never “the one,” know what I mean? It’s like trying to find the perfect white tee. I have been lusting after this one, and think I need to pull the trigger. Love the lace up detail on this one, it adds a bit of sexiness to the lumberjack look.
WIDE BRIM HAT
I don’t “need” another hat, but I neeeeeeed this one. Yes. There’s a difference.
CROSS BODY BAG
I ordered this bag from Farfetch (my new favorite site, BTW), but it’s not here yet. After browsing bags on bags, and thinking and contemplating (real serious decisions, I know), I decided I wanted a smaller cross body bag for fall/winter instead of another large bag. I’ve loved this bag for so long, and never get tired of seeing it, so I can’t wait for it to arrive! I also love this one (it’s more amazing in person + fringe is so in for fall), and this one is much more budget-friendly. Bags, shoes, and coats are the items I don’t mind spending a bit more money on because they last for a long time, and are an “everyday item” unlike most clothing items.
I couldn’t choose just one item from this look – instead, I’d love the whole thing. It is so simple, but not boring – and perfect for the transition to fall (not to mention city walking). I keep coming across great double breasted jackets, and am determined to find one to keep warm this year. Obsessed with this oversized version, but this one is a bit more classic (and probably more wearable).
Because it’s always fun to have something pretty to wear around a fancy hotel. I’ll take this, this (umm hello gorgeous!), and this please!
What’s on your autumn wishlist?
