Life, Lately (according to my iPhone) + Last Day to Enter our BIG Holiday Giveaway
We took Sophia to see Santa over the weekend and she was smitten. She could not wait to see him, and kept saying “Santa! Santa!” and waving to him. When it was her turn, she ran up to him, and sat right on his lap. We were really not sure what her reaction would be, but it turned out to be so amazing. Living Christmas through a child’s eyes is SO fun, and I have a feeling it only gets better each year. I’m obsessed with this outfit, and her sweater dress and tights are currently on sale. She loves wearing these boots, and can pretty much put them on herself which is great. I actually have the same pair, so when I saw they made a mini version, I had to get them for her.
I have still been enjoying coffee this pregnancy – I didn’t when I was pregnant with Sophia because it didn’t appeal to me. I know a lot of people have different opinions on this, but I asked my doctor about caffeine, and he said as long as you don’t consume more than 200mg/day, it’s fine. I usually get a tall latte which only has 75mg, compared to a tall cup of regular coffee that has 180mg.
I have been on the hunt for the perfect white polish for so long, and finally found it! I don’t like when it’s so white it looks like you painted your nails with white out HA – so it was a difficult search. The winner is – OPI Funny Bunny. This is gel, but you can also order the regular polish here.
I normally stay away from heels during pregnancy because I find them to be so uncomfortable and hard to balance on when I have the bump, but these (from Madewell) are new…and so comfortable, I’ve been wearing them quite a bit. They are sold out in all sizes except a 10, but I’m guessing they will restock soon – I’ll keep my eyes peeled for you!
I had my first prenatal massage at the Ritz recently, and I was in heaavvveenn. I’m kind of dying to go back for another one. Pregnancy is hard on your body (back, hips, joints, etc), and getting a massage was seriously amazing. I’d highly recommend it!
I treated myself to this scarf at Aritzia last weekend while I was out Christmas shopping. I’d been eyeing it for a while, and finally caved. I couldn’t decide what color to go with because they are all so great, but ended up going with black and white (which looks more gray to me), since it will go with 90% of my wardrobe ;).
NYC is so magical during the holidays.
I’ve been living in this coat (which just went on SALE TODAY! I bought a US size 6 for an oversized look) and these boots (also on sale) lately. Both are so comfortable, and the coat is surprisingly warm (I’m always skeptical about the ‘real’ warmth of any coat that isn’t down).
Another new obsession – Rag Cuffs. Seriously warm.
PS – If you haven’t yet, be sure to enter our BIG holiday giveaway! The winner will be announced tomorrow! Have a great day babes! xx
