Happy Monday, ladies! Hope you had a wonderful weekend, mine was…freezing. Below zero freezing. Sadly, with a toddler and being 37 weeks pregnant, it was a bit too cold to be outside for longer than 30 seconds, but we had a good time and managed to fit quite a bit in. Luckily my hubs has the day off, so our weekends not quite over yet! We’re heading out in a bit to get waffles and lattes – food seems to be the highlight in anything I do anymore ;).
Valentine’s Day morning – he obviously knows the way to my heart is through donuts. 4 dozen roses didn’t hurt either.
Sophia and I stopped by Bloomies for a little Valentine’s Day shopping – and ended up with this for my husband. It was a hit – these are his favorite ties. *It’s so hard to get a clear photo of her anymore – she’s always running in one direction or another. Don’t let this photo fool you, she was a complete terror…grabbing every single tie off the perfect display and throwing it on the floor. They were really happy with us.
This blush coat has been on repeat since it came in the mail last week. Such a great deal – I’m obsessed with the color and the material.
A little DIY art for the nursery. I’ve been obsessed with Rachel Castle for a long time, but her pieces always sell out quickly and they are pretty spendy, so I decided to try a DIY version of one of my favorites (see the inspiration here). I was having a hard time finding a frame large enough to fit two hearts (I cut the hearts out of felt), and was thinking I would have to go the custom route until I spotted this giant frame at IKEA over the weekend! It’s from the RIBBA collection. I’m obsessed with that place.
Attempting to stay bundled in the city for church on Sunday. This coatis the only thing that saved me – but it no longer zips over my big bump ;).
Double date night at Fig & Olive – one of my favorites. I always splurge and order the truffled risotto (so amazing) and of course the crostinis for an appetizer. This apple tart dessert was SO good and the only thing I remembered to take a picture of – please excuse the terrible lighting).
