Weekend In Photos
Happy Tuesday loves! Hope your week is going well and Monday wasn’t too terrible ;). We had a great Father’s Day weekend, here’s a peek…
Kicked off the weekend with some Park Ave drinks – love this little outdoor bar/restaurant (sorry, I can’t remember the name of it…but it’s around 50th and Park Ave). I had never tried rosé until after I had Avery, and now I’m obsessed. I have a few glasses a week, but am going to have to cut back a little bit since I’m trying to get in better shape! Everything in moderation ;).
Saturday we had lunch at Dos Caminos in the Meatpacking District. I love Mexican food, but have to say I think the Soho location is a little better! My favvvoorite Mexican food in NYC is a hole in the wall on the Upper East Side called Two Lizards – SO good! Anyone have any good Mexican restaurants for me to try in NYC? I’d love to find more!
I thought I lost these jeans (I hadn’t seen them since early in my pregnancy), and was so excited when I found them Saturday morning. They are so comfortable and stretchy, but don’t stretch out when you wear them. I was a little nervous about walking a long time in these shoes since they are new, but they are extremely comfortable, and so glad I splurged on them. I also tried on this pair, and they are very similar (more budget-friendly) and also reallllly comfortable. This jacket is from Topshop at Nordstrom and just sold out, but I am also loving this one
We went to Chelsea Market, and it was my first time. I would suggest going on a weekday if you are visiting (or live here) because it was so crowded. There was a Helmut Lang sample sale happening, and I scooped up a few things, but let’s just say navigating a sample sale with two strollers is NOT recommended ;). We had to get some gelato (I got pistachio), and it was delicious! I really want to go back when it’s not so busy, because there were a lot of food vendors I wanted to try.
Father’s Day brunch – waffles for everyone at Le Pain!
I can’t believe Avery is already 3 months old – time is seriously going too quickly! I felt like she still looked like a tiny baby whenever I glanced at her, but when I saw this picture, I was like woah…she’s growing so much. A few of you were asking about this headband on Instagram, it’s from Happiness Lives Here, and they are the cutest! Sleeper is from Gap Kids
Chad spotted Blue Bottle Coffee while we were walking around and said we had to try some because he had heard it was the best in the city. It was seriously good – the iced latte was so smooth and not too strong, definitely find one in the city if you visit!
Annnnd here’s my 2nd cup this morning ;). Have a great day babes! xx
