Trip To Coeur d’Alene
A couple weeks ago I made a (solo) trip to Coeur d’Alene, ID for one of my best friend’s weddings. I was feeling super anxious the week of the trip because I was leaving Avery for the first time, and always hate to leave Sophia, but I knew they would be in good hands with Chad (and his parents flew out for the weekend as well). Ultimately, I decided to make the trip alone because it was a 10 hour trip from NY, and just felt like that was a pretty long trip for a 3-month-old, and since I was in the wedding party our weekend was packed full of activities, so I wouldn’t have been able to spend much time with them if they were there anyway. In the end, everything worked out perfectly – they had a great time seeing their grandparents, and as much as I missed them, it was so great to spend some time with my girlfriends without any worries! I had never been to Idaho, but my friend lives there and her photos are always amazing – so I knew it was going to be gorgeous. Photos don’t do this place justice, you have to make a trip to see how beautiful it is in person.
I pretty much lived in this outfit for the weekend: jacket (on sale + additional 40% off today) tank (also 40% off) | jeans | sandals
Dancing with the bride at her bachelorette partayyy, we’re always in sync. 😉 Wearing this dress – which wasn’t the most dance-friendly (no stretch…none) lol, but I loved it – can’t wait to wear it again.
Definitely needed this coffee on the balcony the next morning…I had been up for 22 hours the day before due to travel and time difference – this mama’s not used to that! The time difference was kind of a killer for my sleep, but I didn’t feel all that tired until the end of the weekend.
Bison truffle carpaccio – yes please!
The wedding venue was surrounded by this wall of flowers – it was seriously amazing! I have never seen so many flowers planted in one place!
We got the party started in the morning at the salon the day of the wedding with a little mimosa bar.
All of the bridesmaids wore different colors of this dress which was fun! We all threw on a pair of flip flops for the reception – that’s the best part about having long dresses! 😉 Our earrings are from Baublebar & were a gift from the bride.
The detail of her dress was major!
Mr & Mrs!
On Friday night, we went on a sunset cruise – the weather was perfect, and it was such a great time.
Heading home to see my babes! jeans (all sizes just restocked AND on sale!)
I had a connection in Salt Lake City, and thought this was so stunning – I had never been there before.
Funny story…Heather from the RHONY was on my flight home (#hollllaaaa), and all I could do was say hi to her. She was super irritated with her driver, he couldn’t find her or something…so as soon as he pulled up, she beelined for the backseat and left her bag about 20 feet from the car for him to grab. We’ve all been there, but have to say it was some pretty diva-like behavior. 😉
It was such a great weekend, and I can’t wait for my next trip out there! Have a good day babes! xx
