Bringing you guys a fun little holiday cocktail today, the Rosemary Jingle Sparkler – this is super simple & a crowd pleaser! I came across a similar recipe on Pinterest, and I had to recreate it – I love how festive and pretty it is. PS – you can get 20% off any order from uncorked.com with code: TerlatoInsider – time to order some winnnneeee ;). My favorite bottle of wine is $10 cheaper on their site than at my local wine store, safe to say I’ll be stocking up!
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh blackberries (or any berry of your choice)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
fresh rosemary
1 bottle of sparkling rosé or champagne (I used Santa Margheritasparkling rosé)
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low – cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the consistency is syrup-like. Drain the liquid (removing the blackberries), and let it cool.
2. Once the syrup is cool, spoon it into the bottom of your champagne glasses. Top with sparkling rosé or champagne, a sprig of rosemary, a fresh blackberry, and enjoy!
