Hi babes! Today we’re sharing our NYFW recap in photos…*warning* major photo overload! We had such an amazing time & honestly felt so thankful and proud to have attended so many amazing shows and events this season. When we first started blogging, NYFW seemed like suuuccchhh a far out dream, and now that it became a reality, we tried to soak up everything we could! We’ve been to a few shows and parties past seasons, but felt like this was the first fashion week we were really “all in!”
First up was the Tommy X Gigi show – this was the most incredible show I’ve ever seen. I was so sad Meggan’s flight didn’t land in time for her to make it! The collection was so good, and the music and atmosphere were amazing!
We pretty much lived off coffee the entire trip. Our schedule was pretty packed and it was hard finding time to eat – we can’t imagine some of the girls/guys who literally go to events and shows all day long!! Talk about being #hangry
On our last night, we decided we needed ONE good dinner so we headed to Buddakan – the bessst!
The Banana Republic presentation was so good! We loved this suit and that skirt!
We were invited to the Schutz flagship store to pick out a pair of shoes for the Schutz X Vogue event. We’re obsessed with their shoes – best designs and they’re comfortable!
We made a trip to Barney’s after picking up shoes from Schutz, and I fell in love with these sunnies! I talked myself out of buying them then, but just purchased them online ;). I couldn’t resist!
Post show drankssss….rosé all day 😉
Headed to the Vivienne Tam show –jacket | dress (wearing size 6) | sandals
We took a mini break from shows (and the heat) and popped into an art gallery in Chelsea.
The dresses at the Leanne Marshall show were so DREAMY!!!
I really have no words for the 9/11 memorial…I stood at the fountain for a good 20 minutes reflecting back on that horrible day. Some people had left letters next to their family/friends names on the memorial which were heart wrenching to read.
On our way to meet with Tula! We love their products and we’re so excited to visit the office. We left with this overnight cream which is amazzzing!
My hubs surprised us by sending a bottle of champaign to our room along with the sweetest note that made us tear up (lol)!
Off to the Schutz X Vogue event! When we got to the venue the event was at we walked into the wrong dinner party and were trying to find a seat, but there were none open. We didn’t notice at first but it was private party for the Odd Mom Out cast. We were like oops sorry and bounced out of there real fast!! It was so awk and JILL WEBER was staring at us like ummmm who are you guys?! LOL!
My top is by Endless Rose from my friend’s boutique (BOHÉME), and am obsessed with this skirt – I was hesitant b/c of the price, but it’s worth it – the quality is on point and it can be worn for ANY occasion (wearing an XS)!
It’s fun to get dressed up for shows, but comfy street style is my favorite to wear! ^
The Vivienne Tam show was SO cool – we loved the Houston/NASA theme & of course the huge rhinestone belts! Read more about the inspo behind the collection here.
Lunch at NoMo for the Papyrus lunch! Papyrus is a sponsor of Fashion Week and we took over their instagram account for a day!
Loved this dress from ASOS! Looks like it’s out of stock in yellow but it’s still available in this pretty blue.
WHEW! We’re sure we forgot a few things, but this is certainly enough for now! Hope you enjoyed! Any questions, just let us know as always! xx
