Happy Monday ladies! Hope you all had a great weekend, can’t believe it’s already Monday again – October is seriously flying by! You guys know that our styles are pretty similar, and whenever we’re together we trade clothes (why can’t we live in the same city!), but today we thought it would be fun to share two totally opposite looks. Both of us would wear each of these looks, and we love how different they are – it’s fun to switch things up from day to day.
This is a casual look I wore over the weekend. I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers and when I saw this tee in the Topshop section at Nordstrom I had to have it! I’ve seen them in concert a couple times and plan to wear this for the next time I do 😉 They are my all time favorite band. I also can’t stay away from the velvet trend…I love these booties. Simple but so chic! I walked around the city in them for awhile and they didn’t hurt my feet…phew!
Love the open slashed back!
This jacket is one of my favorite items I’ve bought so far this fall. It’s just under $100 but looks a lot more expensive. It comes in a few more colors too!
I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of “mom jeans” since the trend began, but couldn’t find the perfect fitting pair until now. I’m obsessed with the raw, uneven hem and the high waist on this Topshop pair. I wasn’t sure how they would fit, so I brought two sizes into the fitting room with me at Nordstrom, but ended up going with my regular size. There’s not a lot of stretch (which is key for the look), but the larger size looked sloppy. Topshop has quite a few “mom jeans” right now – I also love this pair & this pair.
Everything about this top is perfection – the color, material, details, and the price (under $100)! It can be worn so many different ways, and it’s easy to dress up or down.
These pumps are old, but found a few similar options I love here and here under $100. I love the mom jean + classic pump combo, especially with this hem.
