Happy Monday! We hope you had a great weekend and it was an extra special Mother’s Day for all you mamas!
I’ve been home for the last week in Iowa to see my family and for my brother’s college graduation. Luckily it fell the same weekend as Mother’s Day so I got to spend it with my mom! We kept it pretty low key (we were tired from celebrating the night before) and got lunch at one of my favorite Mexican spots. I had to bring Kyle to the airport after and then I relaxed by the pool while Cam napped. I enjoyed my peace and quiet ๐
Nordstrom has the cutest selection of kids clothes! I’ve always loved Tucker + Tate since Cam was a baby. I recently got him this hoodie (on sale!), these pj’s, and these shorts (pictured). The shorts are SO soft!
A few more pieces I’m loving for him right now…
^ Reality of trying to get your kid to take pics lol! He was not having it ๐
Is there anything sweeter than little kids in Converse? He will be wearing this pair for our wedding ๐
We spent Mother’s Day in NYC – brunch at Rosemary’s (now one of of my favorite restaurants in the city!), walked around Greenwich Village, and visited Washington Square Park. I was so happy because my mom was in town – she extended her trip so we could be together for Mother’s Day and it was great to be able to be with her and my girls (and my hubs of course) on this special day. Definitely my favorite Mother’s Day to date!
I found these jeans at Nordstrom last week and had to buy them because they are so comfortable. I went down a size (normally a 26 and bought the 25), so I would suggest ordering a size smaller since they do stretch. This jacket is J. Crew and looks like it’s sold out online, but this one is nearly identical and I am in love with the color of this one (both on sale for under $100)! I had a lot of questions on insastories about these sunnies – I picked them up last week in the color ‘palladium’. Sophia got so many compliments on her top (how cute are the sleeves?!). I bought these shorts for her to wear with it, but it was chilly yesterday so she wore these jeans instead. She loves to match me, and picked out this jacket (on sale now!) since it looks like mine ;).
^ I borrowed this hat from my mom – she picked it up at Nordstrom while she was here, and I ended up ordering it for myself. Avery’s dress is cute with or without leggings – I love the sweatshirt top.
^ Uhg lol. I did not want them sitting on the sidewalks of NYC (so gross ha!), but as soon as they saw this dog, they had to get down on his level. It was such a fun day, and we were all ready for naps by the time we made it home!
