Guys, I had the WORST insomnia last night because I couldn’t stop thinking about our wedding + things I need to get done for it. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks from when we leave for Cabo (5 weeks until the actual wedding) and I’m feeling SO excited. I have all the big things done buts still need to get some of the small details ironed out. I created a mood board for the reception and ceremony so you can get a feel for the two events! Let’s start with the rehearsal dinner…
We’re having it at Flora Farms in the Mango Grove. I’m so excited for our guests to see the property because it is truly stunning! We are keeping the decor simple – you honestly don’t need too much because the farm itself is so pretty. We’re doing the tables outside (under the amazing blanket of strung lights) along with a sitting area, and the band. Inside the barn we’re putting the cocktail tables and the bar.
Now onto the ceremony and reception…
The ceremony is on the beach and the arch will look similar to the one above. I didn’t want a huge a one because the ocean backdrop is just too pretty. My grandpa is officiating the ceremony 🙂 I’ve always been a grandpa’s girl so it was an obvious choice to ask him. His new nickname is “Chuck The Reverend” lol. My theme is boho/whimsical/chic. For florals were doing lots of greenery with white and blush accents. Tables will have white linens with a lace overlay, floral centerpieces in gold vases, wood table numbers, and candles. We picked out some mixed and matched lanterns to hang over the head table. I’ve always loved the look of gold chiavari chairs but they made our setup look too formal and less boho – so we went with brown. I’ve on an Etsy ordering spree. I got this welcome sign, ring bearer pillow, bride & groom signs, place cards, menus, table numbers, and napkins. I also got a few other things for the welcome bags and bridesmaid swag bags….basically Etsy has everything! It’s so fun seeing everything come together! xx
