Exploring Soufriere
One morning we took a water taxi to Soufriere to do some exploring and grab lunch. We met so many amazing staff members at the resort who live there so we wanted to see their hometown. The people in St. Lucia were so nice (they really made the trip) and happy to share “their paradise” with us. Seriously, everyone we met would say “welcome to my home, my paradise! I hope you enjoy”. It was fun to see a different part of the island with so much culture. I loved all the colorful homes/buildings, the market, and the fishing boats sitting in the bay. Oh and that you could get an ice cold Piton (their local beer) and walk around with it 😉
It was hot and sunny so I wore this breezy Rails romper. The material is soft and it didn’t wrinkle from packing (seriously one of the only items I didn’t have to get pressed lol).
SO much fresh fruit is everywhere. The coconut and mangos were my favorite.
I pretty much wore these sandals everyday ha! I always pack a million shoes and end up wearing like one or two pairs (anyone else!?). These are my first pair of Soludos and I’m hooked – they are comfy and stylish! I’m obsessing over these tassel flats and these colorblock sandals.
How cool is this record shop?

Such a neat and colorful town, I’m so glad I got to see it! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about St. Lucia (the resort, what we did, etc.) and will be doing a few more posts on it all so stayed tuned. xx
