How to Style a Denim Jacket in the Winter

Denim jackets aren’t just for spring and summer, you can easily wear them year-round. In the winter, we love to layer them over sweaters, under a peacoat, or with a scarf. You guys know how much we love Levi’s, and this denim jacket is the perfect addition to our closets (Brooke has the Concrete Indigo wash and Meggan’s is Dream Of Life). A few other jackets we’re loving for winter – here, here, and here (love the sherpa!). Levi’s gave us a coupon code to share with you (yaaasss!) to get 30% off until the 26th – use 30VIP at checkout! Some of our favorite Levi’s: these jeans, this pair, and this pair!
I’ve always been a fan of denim on denim, I think they key is to just break it up a little bit with a scarf, bright sweater, or another accessory that doesn’t make it look so much like a denim tuxedo ;). If you’re not into the tone on tone denim, you could always switch out the jeans for a black or white pair, or even a super dark or light wash so it adds more contrast to your outfit.

These jeans are definitely my most-worn pair. I love the fit and look of them. They don’t have stretch, so you can go up a size for a more comfortable fit (since they are high waisted). I actually have them in two sizes (normal size and one size up), and I wear both, so it just depends on what you prefer with non-stretch denim.

I always wear beanies in the winter and forget about my fedoras! I love how they look with denim jackets and will definitely be wearing this combo more often!

These jeans are a great everyday pair – they’re so flattering and the fit is seriously perfect! I have them in ‘grey game’ and they are on sale for under $50.
