Shopping For My Master Bathroom

I’m finally getting around to finishing our master bathroom – I feel like it’s been halfway done for so long. I needed to get new towels and a bath mat/rug, accessories, and I still need art behind the tub…but that’s going to have to wait for now because I can’t decide on what to do. Bloomingdale’s on 59th Street recently renovated their ‘Home’ floors, so I went last week to check it out & look for a few things for our bathroom.

I’ve been to this Bloomingdale’s so  many times, but never the home floors, and I was shocked to see how much they have to offer! They have furniture, bedding, bath, decor, candles, and kitchen! We really needed a rug for in front of the tub – we have the vintage rug in there, but it’s too far of a stretch when you get out of the tub, so I was looking for something small that would go well with what I already had. I really loved this rug at first, but decided to go with this one  since it brings in the blues that I already have in the bathroom.

I love Turkish towels in the bathroom – they are a little more fun than a standard bathroom towel, and I love the texture it adds. I picked up these hand towels from Coyuchi in white, and several of the blue bath sheets to hang on our towel rack & over the tub. I pretty much wanted one of everything from Coyuchi…their towels and blankets were so soft, cozy, and have a laid-back feel which I love. Each piece also has amazing texture that would be great in any room.

This soap smells so good and the bottle is big (lasts a long time) – it would make a great housewarming/hostess gift!

The only problem with the tassels on the towels and rugs…Louie loves them lol ;).

A few more things I’m loving for the home…
