Transitioning to Spring

The time has finally come to transition from our winter to spring wardrobes. We are so ready for this, and sharing a couple ways to take some of your winter pieces into spring today with chunky knits + cutoffs and moto jackets + spring dresses. Two of our go-to spring looks that are perfect for that ‘in between’ weather.

Chunky knits + cutoffs is such an easy, comfortable, and cool look. It’s effortless, but looks more put together than leggings and an oversized tee – which you can usually find me in ;). A large tote definitely necessary when I’m out and about with my son and husband – I need maximum space to hold all OUR belongings 😉 I always joke Kyle needs his own purse so he can stop throwing his keys, wallet, etc in mine! This Henri Bendel tote has soo much space and I love how sturdy it is – you can set it down without worrying about everything spilling out! It’s also perfect for traveling because it has a zipper and magnetic closure – nothing is escaping!

I actually carry a card holder instead of a wallet most of the time! I never have cash on me (is anyone else this way) so a card holder is easier and takes up less space. I love the monogram charm on this one – it makes it easier to find when you’re digging around in your purse!

One combo I always love is super feminine dresses & a moto jacket. Such an easy way to wear a moto in the spring (although I have no problem wearing one year-round, definitely a staple in my closet). I love a good flowy dress, but need to add a little edge, so the moto jacket is a perfect addition. Structured satchel bags are always one of my favorites to carry – big enough to fit everything I need, but not too big that it ends up weighing 50 lbs and stuffed full of stuff I don’t even need – know what I mean? I love the braided detail on this one from Henri Bendel. This would be a perfect work bag as well because it can hold so much, even a small laptop or tablet. I loooove the nude one with the white stitching – perfect for summer!

I just stopped into the HB store on 5th Ave last week and spotted this little bag – think I may have to snag it in the gray. The price is great and I love the shape!

How fun are these sunglasses? I love that the lenses aren’t so dark since they are definitely a statement. These are going to be on repeat alllll summer! Would be perfect for festival season also!
