We both started using the GloPRO last October and have been hooked since. We actually got to spend some time with the founder, Jamie O’Banion (who is a total boss & has FLAWLESS skin), and got facials from her team – so cool! We always get asked if the we like it and it’s worth the price and our answer for both is YES! I’m breaking down some FAQ’s and how it works in this post!
WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling (also known as dermarolling) helps stimulate collagen production by rolling tiny needles over your skin. The needles gently “damage” your skin, which trigger the body’s repair functions to create new skin cells. The needles are .3mm in length, so it doesn’t hurt but it’s definitely a weird feeling at first. I’m terrified of needles so I was a little iffy at first and I promise they’re fine! The GloPRO has a red LED light which works with the vibration to enhance regenerative skin benefits. Microneedling is known to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, firm your skin, improve scars, prevent aging (yes please!), and smooth your skin.
HOW TO USE
Step one: Remove all makeup and cleanse your face. I’m currently using this cleansing balm and this face wash – both are great for sensitive skin.
Step two: Use moderate pressure and roll the GloPRO all over your face and neck. Just avoid eyelids and under eyes – there’s a different attachment for eyes (pictured below). I usually go over each area 5-7 times, changing the direction each pass. I never use it more than 2-3 minutes and use it every other night.
Step 3: Immediately follow with your skin care routine. The products will absorb easier and quicker – 200 times more effectively! You can use any serum as long as it doesn’t have alcohol or an acid-base. I just started using this one a couple days ago but I’ve also used this one from Beautybio and really like it.
Step 4: Spray with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. A spritz bottle is included with the GloPRO. I try to be diligent with cleaning it because you don’t want to be pushing bacteria into your skin.
IS IT WORTH IT
Like I said, this is our most asked question when it comes to the GloPRO. In our opinion, yes it is 100% worth it. It’s been super effective and we’re both so happy with the results. You need to use it correctly and stay on top of doing it, otherwise it will be hard to see results. So if you aren’t ready to make the commitment, it may not be for you! Also, it’s definitely a little pricey so if you’re on the fence you could try a cheaper version of it! Amazon has a ton of options here. Neither of us have tried other dermarollers so we can’t compare to the GloPRO.
I hope that was helpful!! If you have any other questions please let me know! xx
I want this so badly but my 15 yr old wants new shoes and school clothes! One day I won’t have to choose between myself or my kids, he’s the last one at home but until then… 🤦🏼♀️
This is so cool! I I’ve been really into skin care recently and this looks so interesting. I also wanna try facial rollers. Do you have any that you’re obsessed with? Love ya girl!
What improvements do you see on your skin?
How many uses can you get out of the GloPro? The derma roller I have says I should replace monthly since the needles go dull.
If used regularly, you should replace the head every 3 months! xx
This is sooo intrigueging! And I am terrible with needles of all sorts haha! And that set really is an amazing deal. Definitely way cheaper than getting microneedling done at an aestetician in the long run.

I hate needles too but these are nothing 😉
You mentioned that you should not use a serum that has acid in it. Does that include hyaluronic acid?
Hi Lindsey! On the Beauty Bio website is says to avoid using acid-based serums, benzyl peroxide and concentrated AHA products. Hope that helps!
Have you ever used the attachment for lips ? And if so, did they get fuller?
I have the attachment but haven’t used it yet! I need to start!
Do you use the retinol on the nights you use your glow pro? Or just the serum and moisturizer?
The only retinol I use (which I’m not using now because I’m pregnant) is this supreme night oil and I still use it on nights I use the GloPRO. But with a regular retinol cream I think I’d probably switch off nights just because it makes your skin extra sensitive. xx
