We spent Sunday in the city – brunched at Rosemary’s (West Village) with one of my best friends who was in town for the weekend. Then we grabbed a coffee and walked around a few of our favorite neighborhoods. It’s so fun to see the city starting to get ready for the holidays – even though it can be cold, it’s definitely the most magical time to see/visit NYC. If you’re considering it, do it! You won’t be disappointed – there is so much to see and do.

I wore my new sweater from REISS. I love chunky, cozy knits and this one is so fun and different from anything else I have. I love the subtle color blocking and the striped sleeves! I’m wearing a size small.

My coat is also new in from REISS. It’s an investment, but if you’re trying to build a wardrobe that will last for years, this coat is perfect. Everyone needs a classic, black coat for fall and winter. The faux fur collar is detachable, so it’s really two coats in one. The look is completely different without the faux fur. This would be an amazing gift to add to your holiday wishlist! I’ve mentioned before, coats are one of the three pieces I will splurge on without overthinking, because a quality coat will honestly last you forever. I’ve had one going on 9 years that I still wear all the time! Coats worth the splurge: one, two, three, and four.
