Where We Stayed & What We Did In Cabo

Can’t believe it’s already been a month since our trip to Cabo! My family and I went to celebrate my 30th for a week and some of my friends met us for a few days too! We stayed at Cabo Azul which is where we got married (see my post on that here) so we we’re really excited to go back!

About the resort: This was my third time staying here and I’ve loved it every single time! It’s so pretty (love that the decor is neutral), clean, the rooms are spacious, and the staff is friendly/attentive. They made you feel special by doing little things like greeting you with drinks upon arrival, passing out eucalyptus towels at the pool, and giving free 10 minute massages at the pool (it’s the little things!). It’s located in San Jose which is about 25 minutes from downtown. I like that beach isn’t super touristy and crowded like the resorts down there. You can actually lay on the beach and enjoy peace and quiet lol. The pool is definitely the best feature. It’s huge, was pretty easy to get a good spot, and the swim up bar is great. There’s also a separate kids pool that has fountains and a waterslide! I think Camden went down it 50+ times. There’s a grocery store close by (about a ten minute walk or a few mins by car) so we went there to stock up on booze and food. We had a full kitchen so we made breakfast and lunch in there quite a bit! There’s a little strip mall across that street that has restaurants (shockingly a really good Italian spot), shops, massages, and pedicures. It was hanging out there so we didn’t have to haul the kids car seats everywhere. However when we went to Flora Farms and to Edith’s our driver waited for us so we could keep our carseats with him which was convienent.

We had dinner at Acre the first night. Such a stunning place – I definitely want to stay there sometime without the kids 😉

My dress is by coolchange but from last year and no longer available, ugh!

My parents watched the kids one day so we could all go downtown. We went to The Office and Mango Deck – so much fun! A few of us went on a banana boat and that was honestly one of the highlights of the trips lol.

How adorable is Mila’s orange one piece?

Poolside with a smoothie…lived his best life all week;)

We go to Flora Farms every time we visit Cabo. It’s one of our favorite spots and where we had our rehearsal dinner (see the post here). If you go, make sure you head there early so you can walk around and explore before dinner!

I get Mila’s cute turbans from Top Knots!

Edith’s is such a good spot – highly recommend it!

My mom hired a photographer so we could get some decent family pictures. I was annoyed to do them at first (lol) but so happy we did because they turned out so cute!
