School is officially in session for many of us, and I can’t believe we are back in school – but I’ll be honest, I’m excited to get back to a regular routine ;). My girls love to get dressed up so we headed to Bloomingdale’s last week to pick up some fresh looks for back-to-school.
Sophia is more about comfort while Avery loves playing dress-up. Bloomingdale’s gives us the best of both worlds with their selection of cozy basics and girlier options. And the prices aren’t ridiculous either, especially if you shop during the Kids’ Buy More, Save More events, which is happening now! Through Labor Day, you can take 20% off purchases of $100+, 25% off $200+, or 30% off $250+ on regular priced items for kids. It’s also the perfect time to grab a few things for yourself too with the Big Brown Bag sale on!
Last year, Avery picked out this denim jacket and she wore it so much that we decided to get it again this year in a bigger size. Denim jackets are pretty much staples in all of our wardrobes and we love this one because it’s SO soft and can be layered with sweaters and long sleeves – definitely going to be her go-to fall jacket. We also picked up this adorable tutu dress, which Avery can wear to school with leggings or play in over the weekends. She was super excited about picking out her new backpack. I was really happy with Sophia’s STATE backpack last year, so Avery pick the same style in a different color (this one here – currently on sale for 25% off!). Not only is it the perfect size for kids, but STATE donates fully-packed backpacks to a family in need for every bag purchased – definitely sold on this! Such an amazing idea, and while the price tag is a little higher, I love the concept and am happy to support businesses that give back!
I picked up this tee and midi skirt for myself, which I’ll be keeping in rotation this fall. The skirt is under $70 and SO good. You can get it in a variety of prints and colors, including leopard and snake print. The length is perfect and I can’t wait to style it with boots as soon as the temperatures drop.
