It’s probably obvious by now that combat boots are our favorite boot trend this season and we’ve been wearing them every other day. I bought this Via Spiga pair at Bloomingdales before our trip to Paris, and can’t stop reaching for them. Although I already own a few different combat boots, I loved the style design on this one that feels even more comfortable and practical than some of the other ones in my closet. When I was trying them on in store, a girl next to me saw them and bought them on the spot – they’re just so fun, a little different, and the quality is very good! Also – if you purchase two pairs of qualifying shoes right now at Bloomie’s, you’ll get 25% off!
These were one of the few pairs of boots that made it to Paris with me, and it was such a smart choice because they were super comfy after plenty of hours wearing them. We walked over 9 miles each day in Paris and they didn’t hurt my feet at all – even during the first wear. This doesn’t really come as a surprise because Via Spiga shoes are known for comfort.
The best part is, you can wear them over and over again with endless outfit combos! I decided to style them differently for our first day in Paris here. On the day we visited Versailles, I wore them again & it was pouring rain but my feet stayed dry all day. I’ll definitely be breaking them out more once winter comes!
My typical combat boot outfit is jeans or leggings with a coat on top. I’ll pull this combo together when I want to look put together but wear something functional (usually when I’m traveling or running errands across town). However, now when I want to go for more of a fun and different look, I’ll throw on a skirt and tights. It adds the perfect amount of 90s grunge that still feels polished and cool. You can’t really go wrong with either look this season!
This style comes in black and white – and both colors are so good! If you already own several black boots, then definitely go for the white one for a trendier take on this wardrobe staple. They run big so I went down 1/2 size.

Big thanks to Bloomingdales for partnering on this post!
