An Easy Weekend Outfit

Is it just me or did January take a year and February has flown by?! This time of year can be a little tricky when it comes to getting dressed, since the weather seems to fluctuate daily. That’s why I turn to Nordstrom when I want something cool and casual to throw on, and focus on pieces that will transition well from winter to spring.

This tee (wearing xs) and these jeans (went up a size) are some of my favorite go-tos right now, and they will easily transition to spring and summer. The ‘weekend tee’ is the actual perfect throw-on top Friday-Sunday. It comes in six staple colors (black, red, white, grey, light blue, and blush), and the fit is a relaxed, super flattering boxy shape. “Boxy” and “flattering” don’t usually go together, but this tee makes it work! Lately, I’ve been waking up, throwing this tee on, and not taking it off until dinner—it’s that versatile and easy to wear. My coat is from early in the season from Anine Bing

The jeans have also quickly become favorites in my closet. They’re Topshop’s take on a classic, high-waist, straight leg jean and go with just about anything. I love the wash — it’s the perfect true denim blue. The somewhat cropped cut and raw hem make these jeans unique and functional all at once!

I’ve been wearing my Converse nonstop lately! Super comfortable and a classic – I went down 1/2 size. I ended up buying the girls matching as well – so cute! I can always count on Nordstrom for trendy yet classic pieces, and these pieces were no exception. A few more of my favorites: this tank, these sandals (amazing Botegga dupe!), and this skirt – these three pieces together would actually be such a cute outfit! The Weekend Tee with these jeans and a pair of your favorite sneakers makes this look perfect for whatever the weekend throws your way!
