What We’re Loving From FP

Lately, we can’t get enough of Free People. Their clothes are just so effortless, comfortable, and cool all in one, which is hard to find from other brands. If you want something more funky, they have that. But if you’re looking for the basics or even staples with a subtle twist, they also have those! We’re leaning more toward the basics right now and wanted to share our newest finds with you guys.

I’m living for these raw high-rise jeggings in sierra. The holey knees and undone, frayed hem make them so easy to wear during the summer, and the fit is perfect for something more relaxed but still flattering (I took her normal size of 26). As for what to wear them with, this boucle sweater tank and this muscle tank have been favorites lately. The sweater tank is so light, you forget you’re wearing it and it’s available in 8 colors. For a looser, summer look, I went with a medium. The muscle tank offers a bit more coverage with an effortlessly cool ribbed finish that makes it even easier to wear on 100º days (got this in a small)!

I was drawn to this incredible dress from Free People. The Soa dress is a silky, one shoulder maxi with a beautiful bow tie at the shoulder, making it perfectly playful for summertime. It’s one of those dresses you can wear anywhere – to a summer night dinner, as a coverup to the beach, or even to a black tie event! It’s so easy to slip on, comfortable, and the best part? It has pockets! It’s a timeless investment piece you’ll wear every summer going forward for sure. It does run big, I’m wearing a size XS.

Whether you’re looking for everyday basics or staples with a twist that you’ll have for a long time, Free People should be one of your first stops. We always find pieces we love there, no matter the occasion.
