How I’m Getting Back To Working Out

Now that my morning 24/7 sickness is finally gone, I’m slowly getting back to working out. I haven’t really worked out since June, so I’m taking it slow and I get tired quickly. Seriously, I’m winded after taking a flight of stairs lol. I never really worked out throughout my past pregnancies, and it’s something I want to make a priority this time. It helps to have an easier labor and it’s better for your body to be consistent rather than to just jump back in after the baby is born. I’m not planning or expecting to ‘bounce back’ right away, but I do know that working out during pregnancy helps.

For now, I’m going on walks and starting a few of my favorite online workout programs: Obé and Melissa Wood Health – both have prenatal workouts which are great, and you can take them at your own pace. I needed new shoes for walking (and hopefully, eventually jogging) and my husband recommended a pair from On Cloud, which I’ve never tried. He recently got this pair and loves them. He is big into running & ran track in college, so I always trust his recommendations when it comes to running sneakers. They fit true to size and are so comfortable!

I love the black and white pair, but Nordstrom has so many options here. I also love this pair from Nike – I have an older pair of this style and find them to be really comfortable. While I was at Nordstrom grabbing a new pair of sneakers, I picked up this hoodie (on sale! I’m wearing a size large to accommodate the bump), this beanie, and these leggings. I also got the bra that Meggan recommended and it’s so comfy. Highly recommend! PS – my Ray-Ban’s are currently 30% off!

I’ll keep you updated on my workout progress, and would love any recommendations if you have them!

Thank you to Nordstrom for partnering on this post!
