Nordstrom is always knocking it out of the park, and my latest visit there proved no different! I mentioned this a few blog posts ago, but since the weather is still chilly-ish, I’m leaning into my athleisure and comfies as long as I can before the summer shows up. That said, I decided it was time to shop their River Island x Nordstrom collaboration to add a few more loungewear pieces to my repertoire that could possibly double as “real clothes” when the time comes.
I love a hat, we know this. This Madewell broken in baseball cap is perfection for dirty or bad hair days. It comes in black, an off-white, and an “olive surplus” which is the color I went with. It just fits so perfectly and is an easy hat to throw on for the day!
This gorgeous River Island light blue sweatsuit immediately caught my eye, and I knew I had to have it. On both the sweatshirt and the pants, the fabric is impossibly soft (64% cotton, 36% polyester). I love that the crewneck sweatshirt features a cinched waist, too—it’s easy to look a little too comfortable in the sweats (like, to the point of sloppiness) but this sweatshirt steers clear of that. When paired together, this sweat-fit looks cool and feels like butter against your skin! It also looks super cute with leggings.
I also grabbed this gorgeous River Island rib knit sweater that looks and feels so much more expensive than $60! The sweetheart neckline is flattering on just about everybody and, because this sweater is more form-fitting, it gives the illusion of a bodysuit when you tuck it into jeans or wear it with a great pair of black leggings!
I’m so happy with these new purchases from Nordstrom but, then again, when am I not happy about the things I get from Nordstrom?! Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
