1. What luxury purchase would you not make again?
I think anything ultra specific that can’t be worn over and over. When you’re spending a lot, you want to get a lot of use out of that item. One thing that comes to mind for me is a pair of hot pink satin pumps from Balenciaga (purchased before Balenciaga’s downfall). Very specific & very bright. Not something I would wear often. The other thing I would say is anything you have to be talked into purchasing – either by friends or a sales associate. If you don’t love it right away in store, chances are you’re not going to love it at home either

2. Mom hacks or tips on how to find time for your interests?
Ask for help. Whether it’s from your husband/partner, family, or a babysitter. You have to make time for yourself! Happier mom = happier home, in our experience.

3. Which pajamas do you reach for the most?
Meggan:
I love my Eberjey pajamas – specifically this pair and this pair!
Brooke: I sleep in my husband’s t-shirt and a pair of underwear. But, if we’re talking cute lounge pajamas, I love this pair – they’re incredible soft and I love the ribbed detail. I have the gray, they fit true to size.

4. How long did you two breastfeed? I’m struggling 3 months in with supply.
Brooke: 6 months with my first, 4 months (I think?) with my second, and 3-ish months with my 3rd! I struggled with supply also and was much happier and less stressed when I started supplementing with formula.
Meggan: With my first, I exclusively pumped for 6 months, my second, 3 months and about 3 weeks with my third. I didn’t enjoy breastfeeding so I didn’t put too much pressure on myself the second and third time around!

5. What are your everyday bracelet stacks?
Brooke:
I don’t really have one right now, I took off my bracelets a few months ago when I was trying out a new self-tanner and just haven’t put them back on!
Meggan: I wear my love bracelets, this mini tennis bracelet, this heart bracelet, this bezel mini tennis bracelet, and this chain bracelet.

6. Brooke – did you bring any inspo pictures when you went to the salon? If so, which ones?
Yes! This one, this one, and this one!

7. What trends are you excited to wear this fall?
Meggan:
Dare I say…leopard.
Brooke: Work wear jackets – love that you can throw them on with any outfit and it instantly looks cooler.

8. I want to purchase my first designer purse – I want it to be classic/timeless. What do you recommend?
We would do a crossbody like this one or a shoulder bag like this one. Both are classic and versatile!

9. Fall booties you’re eyeing for fall ($200-$800 range)?
Love this pair, this pair and this pair!

10. Meggan – would you really move to the Northeast!?
We have no plans to but never say never! It would be really hard to leave our family and friends in Dallas.

11. How many people work for you guys?
One. In the past we’ve had several part-time employees, but two years ago we brought one of our part-time employees on full-time and she’s amazing! We definitely couldn’t stay sane without her!

12. When do you find the time to workout? And how do you stay consistent?
Brooke: I workout in the morning, after kids are in school or camp. If you’ve been here a while, you know the number 1 struggle for me when it comes to health/fitness is consistency. In April 2023, I finally bit the bullet and hired a trainer. I workout with her 2-4 times a week. It’s the only thing that has kept me consistent – the accountability. I’m not someone who enjoys working out, so I need someone there telling me what to do. If a trainer isn’t your thing, plan gym time with a friend or book a class (usually you have to pay in advance) – it definitely helps when you know someone is counting on you, or you’ve already spent the $.
Meggan: I have to workout in the morning before the kids wake up. I like to do the 5:30am sculpt class and be done by 6:15 – that way I can shower and have my breakfast/coffee before the morning gets chaotic! If you miss a class, you are charged a fee so that makes me not skip lol. I don’t love working out either (love how I feel after though!) so I need to sign up for a class to keep me accountable.

13. Can you do a roundup of fall wedding guest dresses?
Some pretty options: one, two, three, four, and five.
